Summer Recreation

Hiking

The Fitch House property has 160 Acres with walking trails.

Many people also walk “the circle”, a three mile loop that circles Kents Corner and Maple Corner.

There are official Calais trails (quite beautiful!) throughout the woods and fields of town that are managed by volunteers.

The nearest official trail is a 5 minute walk heading North up our road, or through our fields that follow the road. Cross to the left hand side of the road and follow the blue arrows and C markers across the field and into the woods. This Trail will bring you to Maple Corner.
